Can I get my blood pressure checked at the health department?
Yes, the Ellis County Health Department offers free blood pressure screens to the public. Currently, there is a walk-in blood pressure clinic scheduled every Friday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the department. In addition, this service is also offered every Tuesday at Ellis (City Hall) and the Hays Senior Center. Blood pressures are also provided on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Centennial and Epworth Towers respectively. Call the department at 628-9440 for information and clinic times.
