You can buy chemicals at the county if you are controlling a noxious weed on a property within Ellis County.

To purchase restricted-use pesticides, you must have a current private or commercial Pesticide Applicator's Certificate.

3. When should I spray musk thistle, and what product will work best?

We recommend either Milestone or Tordon 22K applications either in the late fall just before the ground freezes, or in early spring just after the ground thaws.
