On the evening of April 13, the Kansas Supreme Court achieved two firsts. It held its first ever night session in FHSU's Beach Schmidt Auditorium and visited Hays for the first time. It was estimated that about 700 attended the session. The Court heard arguments in three cases during the session. One of the attorneys arguing the first case was Ellis County Attorney Tom Drees. In addition to the session, the justices invited several people to join them for breakfast on the morning of April 14. Breakfast attendees included employees of the 23rd District Court and the Ellis County Commission. Enclosed here are photos taken with the Justices.
