Sealed Bids will be received by Ellis County, Kansas at the Office of the County Clerk for the Repair of:

FAS 80- Bridge Repair
(Project No. 12-1233M)

Bids will be accepted until 3:00 PM on the 27th day of November, 2012 at the Office of the County Clerk, located in the Ellis County Courthouse, 1204 Fort Street, Hays, KS 67601, when they will be opened and read aloud

Principal Items of Work:

Bridge Repair and Guard Fence Installation


Copies of the Drawings and other Contract Documents are on file and available for public inspection at the Office of the County Clerk located in the Ellis County Courthouse, 1204 Fort Street, Hays, KS and BG Consultants Inc., 4806 Vue Du Lac Place, Manhattan, KS 66503 Tel. No. 785-537-7448.

A complete set of the Contract Documents may be obtained by prospective bidders by sending a non-refundable cash payment of Forty Dollars ($40.00) along with a written request for said set of documents to: BG Consultants Inc., 4806 Vue Du Lac Place, Manhattan, KS 66503.

All bidders must be on the plan holders list to be eligible.

No Bidder may withdraw a bid for a period of 30 days following the opening of Bids.

The character and amount of security to be furnished by each Bidder is stated in the above mentioned Contract Documents.

Working Days, the Proposed Start Date, and Bid Amount will all be considered in the award of this Bid.

The Ellis County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive formalities in considering Bids and to accept the Bid which, in the Board’s opinion, is in the best interest of Ellis County.
