The ECFD has six companies located throughout Ellis County - Catharine, Ellis, Hays, Munjor, Schoenchen & Victoria, with approximately 90 paid per call firefighters.

The Ellis County Emergency Management Department coordinates all components of the Emergency Management System by working closely with local, state, and federal agencies, as well as volunteer and private organizations.
