Other diseases of concern which cannot be prevented with vaccines or medications include Cholera, Dengue Fever, and Tuberculosis

The Ellis County Health Department provides a walk-in vaccination clinic every Monday between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The clinic provides immunizations for:
- Infants and children
- Adolescents, and
In addition, appointments can be made for vaccinations on other days by calling the department at 785-628-9440. The health department is not able to provide all vaccinations travelers may need. We can however, get a person started with the more common shots and make referrals for the others.
The health department provides these vaccinations at the lowest cost available. We can bill most insurance companies for vaccination services however we are unable to bill Medicare. The health department does accept cash, checks, or credit/debit cards.
