A message from your Ellis County Appraiser
Dear Ellis County Homeowner:
The Ellis County economy has experienced steady growth and is a desirable place to live. So naturally this good fortune has an effect on the real estate market.
The average appraised value for a home in Ellis County has been increasing for over ten years. Although this doesn’t set well with taxpayers, it certainly pleases the homeowner and ensures a strong economy. For nothing is more unsettling than seeing a declining market value for a family’s most valuable asset – it’s home.
Which brings me to say………Our county’s positive business environment, its good infrastructure, its excellent schools, its safe environment, and its government integrity make this a popular place to live and work.
My office pledges to continue its efforts to appraise property accurately and fairly according to Kansas state law.
We hope you find this guide helpful.
